Colby Cyburt, Managing Partner of Redwood West, is responsible for leading the Firm’s acquisition and financing efforts across the portfolio. Colby also oversees Redwood West’s asset management and property management responsibilities. He has been an integral part of growing the Redwood West portfolio, which has expanded to over $750 million in assets.

Prior to joining Redwood West, Colby was a Vice President at Ascendant Capital Partners, located in Los Angeles. Colby joined the Firm at the time of its founding and was responsible for underwriting new acquisition opportunities as well as asset management of the Firm’s investments. Prior to joining Ascendant Capital Partners, Colby worked at Eastdil Secured, a leading real estate investment banking and advisory firm headquartered in Santa Monica. Colby was actively involved in underwriting and investment sales processes, with closed transactions in excess of $60 billion and total sales volume comprised of over 620 million square feet of real estate. 

Colby was a four-year scholar athlete and graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) where he played football and received a B.A. with academic honors.
